Location is excellent and although the rooms are relatively small ) like ALL European rooms) ours was very good. It was on the top floor, with the possibiity of cross breezes and it was very quiet. The bathroom was large (once again by Europan standards) and actually had a bath as well as a shower attachment. There is a lift as well. Very close to two of the main Metro lines. Lots of good local food shops, cafes and restaurants. All well priced.
Although a great location for people staying, taxis do not seem to be very happy to pick up from the hotel. The day we left it was raining and we could NOT book a taxi.
The hotel is in a very convenient place for sightseeing with easy access to the metro and in a quiet off steet location the staff are very helpful
It would be better if there was a secure room to store luggage after check out time
great location and pleasent staff
hair-dryer hardly working. for the couples on low budget.
kindness of receptionist wonderful appartement
Very central from the point of view of Montmartre, close to the Sacré Coeur and many eateries of all nationalities.
The lavatory bowl in our bathroom had a very high water level and the po rcelain was yellowish, as if stained with urine. The flush was sluggish, which may have caused a build-up; a strong person with an ample supply of bleach could have worked wonders. The breakfast was very basic: cheap muesli, plain yogurt, bread, croissants (they kept having to replenish these and they were not warmed), jams, orange juice...We live in France and often stay in hotels, which in general make more effort to please other nationalities by providing cold meats, cheese and fresh fruit. We took our son and his American girlfriend to Paris and they had the room next door. I fear they were not impressed.
Great place, great price
Small rooms, no iron, no comfortable shower, just bathtub without a curtain. But everything is fine for a short stay.
It is small, clean and wonderfully located.
The breakfasts are uninspired and the room rather dull.
Location ideal for the area,Hope to go again in the future.Breakfast v.good value. Basic but pleasant spacious room and high standard of cleanliness.peaceful side street and convenient restaurants etc.
This was the second time in hotel Pavillon Montmartre. The hotel is in a quiet street, but still near cafees and restaurants .Montmartre is simply the best area of Paris! The towels were changed every day, room was clean and quiet, staff very friendly and helpfull. We like this hotel very much and sure we will come back next time we come to Paris.
Very nice hotel on the rue abesses with lots of good bars and restaurants near by, close to metro and velo station. I stayed in a single that was small, but with enough space to accomodate one person. Good bed and very quiet at night. Recommended.
Very nice place and location for walking, only 2 min and you can see Moulin Rouze!
5th visit to this little hotel (formerly called Hotel des Capucines) in 15 years and very much hope to be back again! Perfectly located in the heart of Montmartre, midway between Blanche and Abbesses Metro stations, Pavillion de Montmartre is comfortable, spotlessly clean and great value for money.
Room number 3! Two of my friends were allocated this room but requested and were given another after first night . . . small and darkish with early morning noise from nearby kitchens! New room on second floor was bright, airy and quiet. We were in number 1 which was fine throughout.
We were "upgraded" to an Appartement which was surpriserling Good! Clean and with a great view
The staff were unfriendly. We had no Choice Other than to Stay at an Appartement (which as mentioned was Good) far away from the Hotel. No Service in the room and for every einquiry wie had had, wie had to Walk 15min to the Hotel! All in all Not very satisfactory
It is in the heart of Montmarte, you can feel the spirit of this place.
The floor of my room was not perfectly horizontal :)
The hotel is 4 minutes away from 2 lines of the metro which is very comfortable. Please note that you would still need to change the line in order to get to the centre. 7 minutes away from Sacre Coeur and 4 minutes from Moulin Rouge. There are lots of cafes, wine bars, pubs, and small restaurants relatively not expensive. Very quite during the night as all rooms are facing the inner courtyard. Breakfast for Euro 6 per person is ok.
Slight noise when someone is flashing in the bathroom of the room next to yours.
